Mark Simon
CEO
Mark started a computer hardware company in 1990 and developed it to be the largest of its type in the UK before selling it nine years later. In 1999, he founded The Chemistry Club to bring together investors and technology start-up companies.

Rhonda Alexander-Abt
Co-founder
Rhonda was Senior Vice-President and International Director of World Congress LLC, a US-based company specialising in conferences for senior business executives and government officials from across the globe.
Rhonda received a BSc in Marketing in 1986 from New York University, and a Master of Philosophy in Sociology, Politics and Economics of Development at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University in 1993.

Julia Alexander
Master Class Co-ordinator
Julia has worked in corporate training and events for over ten years. Prior to joining The Chemistry Club she was the General Manager for an international training business based in the City of London.
Julia holds a BA honours in French and Linguistics from Queen Mary, University of London.

Jonathan Cordell
Associate Director
Jonathan spent nearly two years working for the Shadow Treasury team in Westminster looking at value for money in the public sector and opposition spending plans.
Prior to joining The Chemistry Club, Jonathan was a Channel Account Manager for a UK based Internet Service Provider.
Jonathan holds a BSc in Statistics, Operational Research and Management Studies from University College London.

Nicola Darke
Senior Member Services Executive
Nicola holds a BA Hons in English and Philosophy from Oxford Brookes University and a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School. Prior to joining The Chemistry Club Nicola worked for a leading global legal recruitment company.

Karen Davies
Guest Relations Co-ordinator
Karen holds a MChem with Honours in Chemistry with Patent Law from The University of Manchester.
Prior to joining The Chemistry Club, Karen was an Executive Officer within her Students’ Union and undertook an internship at Shell, researching the uses of by-products from oil production.

Hannah Denney
Associate Director
Prior to joining The Chemistry, Hannah was an Operations Manager for five years organising exhibitions, outdoor events and conferences for international clients.
Hannah holds a BA Hons in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University.

Wayne Heasman
Guest Relations Executive
Wayne holds a BA Hons Degree in History and Politics and an MA Hons Degree in Politics from the University of Kent.
Before joining The Chemistry Club, Wayne worked for a leading international conference firm in the energy sector.

Tessa-Elisabeth Hueber
Guest Relations Co-ordinator
Prior to joining The Chemistry Club Tessa worked for a member of the UK Parliament’s Energy and Climate Change Select Committee and for international organisations in Austria and Haiti.
Tessa holds an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, USA.

Before joining The Chemistry Club, Lorna lived and worked in Australia as a Personal Assistant for a financial services company and previously worked in the hospitality industry.
Lorna holds a BA Hons Open Degree in English Literature from The Open University.
